  • HD BROWS
WHAT IS HD BROWS? HD Brows is a bespoke eyebrow treatment that is tailored to your eyebrows . More than just a standard eyebrow tint and wax. It is a unique design formula which includes custom-blended colour (tint), hair removal and brow make up application that is suitable for you. HD Brows is a great treatment if you are wanting to tame or try to regrow brows that were once there. HOW LONG DOES HD BROWS LAST? The effects of HD Brows can last around 4 weeks, however this can vary on a number of factors such as your hair growth, how well you look after your brows. The tint will gradually fade away and the final finishing design element of this treatment, will last until you next remove you face makeup. DO I NEED TO DO A PATCH TEST? Yes. A patch test is required at least 48 hours before your appointment and where there has been a 6-month lapse from the original allergy test or treatment. Patch test periods maybe subject to change as you may require one before each treatment, if changes have occurred since your last treatment. This will be discussed with you at time of your appointment. IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT? YES. The minimum age to get this treatment is 16 years old. I HAVE SPARSE OR OVERPLUCKED BROWS; CAN I STILL GET HD BROWS? Yes, but you may need a regrowth programme to achieve the brows you want. In the meantime, you can fake it, till you make it with make up application. CAN I HAVE A FACIAL THE DAY BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT? Like with any brow treatment it is advised that any, fake tan, exfoliants, retinoids, AHAs or intense facials/peels should be avoided for at least a week prior to your HD Brow appointment. As the HD Brow treatment includes waxing and tinting, both these features may react on the skin, if the skin has been compromised due to tanning/facials etc. WHAT’S AN HD BROWS RE-GROWTH PROGRAMME? For some, the perfect brows may not be achieved after the first treatment. Those with over-plucked, sparse brows may need to be put onto a re-growth programme. You will be educated on the areas needed to grow in, so that we can improve the shape of your brows. As well as being shown how to use HD makeup to use on any gaps in your brows until your dream brow shape has been created.
  • HD BROWSCULPT LAMINATION
WHAT IS HD BROWSCULPT LAMINATION? HD Brow Sculpt is brow lamination. It's great if you want to achieve that full and fluffy eyebrow look, create symmetry in uneven brows or even tame unruly hairs. Brow lamination is a two-step eyebrow perming treatment. First step is to correct the brow shape by setting the hairs in place using a chemical solution. This involves a cream being applied to the brows that breaks down bonds in the brow hair so they can be manipulated into a new position. The second step, requires another cream to be applied to rebuild these bonds and re set the brows into their new position. HOW LONG DOES THE BROW LAMINATION LAST? Brow lamination is a corrective treatment that can last up to 4-6 weeks. Longevity depends on your hair type and how you look after your brows. If maintained well, they can last up to 8 weeks. IS THERE ANY MAINTENANCE? Whilst not compulsory, its advised that you get a BrowSculpt Maintenance Treatment at 3-4 weeks after your initial HD BrowSculpt application. This will help aid in the condition of your brows and the longevity of the treatment. DO I NEED TO DO A PATCH TEST? Yes. A patch test is required at least 48 hours before your appointment and 6 months after your initial patch test/treatment if there has been a time lapse or if there has been any changes to your medical history. IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT? YES. The minimum age to get this treatment is 16 years old. Anyone under the age of 18, will require signed consent and must be accompanied by a parent/guardian over the age of 18 at their appointment. IS BROW LAMINATION SUITABLE FOR ME? Brow lamination works for most eyebrow shapes and styles. From full brows to sparse, so is ideal treatment for anyone looking to improve the shape and look of their brows. I HAVE FAKE TAN ON, WILL THIS AFFECT MY LAMINATION? As chemical solutions, tint and wax are used in the process of Brow Lamination, you should avoid using fake tan, exfoliants, retinoids, AHAs or having intense facials/peels on your face for one to two weeks prior to your brow lamination appointment. The skin can become highly sensitive when using products/treatments such as these, which can result in skin reactions, skin grazing and green brows. If you have used any of these products or are unsure of when to have a facial please talk to The Studio. IS BROW LAMINATION SAFE? Yes, brow lamination is a safe treatment. As with any eyebrow treatment, you will be asked relevant questions and undertake the relevant patch test to ensure that the treatment and products are suitable for you. EYEBROW LAMINATION AFTERCARE ADVICE It’s always important to follow the aftercare given to you after your BrowSculpt treatment. For the first 24 hours, you should treat your brows with care, avoid getting them wet, steam baths and saunas.
